India has many religious / ethnic communities, including very ancient and large Muslim and Christian populations. Beef is very much part of the Indian cultural landscape. Some Hindu subgroups also have historically consumed beef.
So, for J N, beef has been part of Indian food for centuries. There are many authentic Indian beef recipes. Google for recipes from Christian or Muslim communities from Kerala, Goa, Mumbai, etc.

Just wanted to say that there’s no need to apologize, as you did not say “Hindu Brahmin” food. You said “Indian recipes” and beef is not excluded from that. There was no cultural insensitivity there.

Thank you for these recipes, ladies. As an ethnic brought up Hindu Indian, I am glad that many others find it to be possible to still go keto with Indian food! Another suggestion to try: mint and coriander coconut curry with green beans and tofu!
